The following table illustrates common causes for disruption in performance and is provided to assist the user in minimizing down time and to improve communications with our service personnel in diagnosing a problem.
Table 1. Common problems and measures
No. | Items | Problem symptom | Corrective measures |
1 | Mechanical and transmission part | The sudden abnormal noise in the grinding process | Stop the device immediately to check whether the tightening device is loose. Restart after tightening. |
Metal clashing sound with a strengthening trend in the grinding process | Stop the device immediately to check the wear conditions of the gears and bearings. Replace them in serious wear conditions. If there is no anomaly, spread lubricating cream sufficiently.
The main plate rotates slowly obviously or imbalancedly. | Stop the device immediately to check whether the triangular transmission belt is worn. Replace the worn one. And then check whether the belt is loose. If so, adjust the motor tension before testing or replace it with a new one.
2 | Electrical part | The device does not start. | Plug in the power and turn on the emergency stop button. Check whether the indicator light is on. If the indicator light is off, check the power supply and power cords, followed by the power switch and emergency stop switch. |
If the indicator light is on, check whether the lid is closed properly(whether the limit switch is off ), and then check whether the frequency converter displays normally. At last, check whether the operation switch is damaged.
If the frequency converter displays anomaly or fault codes, contact our customer service personnel in time. |
